SUSTAINING ACCESS TO BOOKS AND STUDY MATERIALS
Spread Corporation's CBUS initiative (Cooperative Book Use Strategy) provides African college and university students with on-campus, easy, affordable access to current and up-to-date books and study materials through an innovative membership system. THE materials made available by CBUS are procured through a cost sharing arrangement involving the membership dues of student and other interested individuals, donations from various philanthropic, government and private bodies, and earnings from services provided by CBUS.
CBUS initiative involves SPREAD CORPORATION teaming up with major publishers to acquire at highly subsidized rates the publishers' current publications that are relevant to the needs of the .
