Call for Papers
Distance Education in Africa invites you to submit an article on the theme of “the State of Information and Communications Technology in African Education.” You have the option of tackling this subject from the standpoint of the case study of a particular African country or a cross-section of African countries.
Guidelines for Submission of Manuscript:
Manuscripts should be submitted as email attachments in MsWord or in RTF format. Articles should be limited to 25 typewritten, double-spaced and left-justified pages, including endnotes, tables, figures and charts.
* Authors should use the APA format for their submissions.
* Notes to figures and tables should appear as footnotes below the image.
* Figures, charts, and images must be clean, camera-ready copies and should be submitted in the
original program in which they were created (JPG, TIFF, or EPS; Microsoft Application Files are
acceptable for vector art [line art]).
* Scanned figures should be set at 1200 dpi for line art and 300 dpi for color or grayscale.
* All submissions must contain an abstract of no more than 150 words, along with a short
biographical paragraph that describes each author’s current institutional affiliation and research
interests.
It is the author’s responsibility to secure written permission and to pay any fees that a copyright holder may demand for the reproduction of tables, art, figures, and/or substantial quotes taken directly from another source. Distance Education in Africa does not accept manuscripts that are under consideration for publication in any other journal nor reproduce articles that have been previously published in other journals.
